Wondering what the world of eyelash treatments will look like once all of the restrictions have been lifted? You definitely aren’t alone. At the moment, we know that beauty salons are allowed to start offering facial treatments from August 15th onwards. Of course, this was after a couple of false starts and delays for the beauty industry.
But we’re getting back to normal. Kind of. Here’s what to expect post-lockdown for your eyelash treatments:
Pre-booked appointments only
There won’t be anymore walk-ins for a while. Salons and spas are being asked to make sure that their clients book all of their appointments in advance to make sure they know exactly how many people are in their space at any one time. This will help with the current social distancing measures that are in place.
You’ll also be asked to pay using contactless payment.
Attend alone
We’re sorry, you’ll have to leave your friends and family members behind for the time being. You’ll be asked to attend your appointment alone to minimalise the footfall in the salon.
Salons will be requesting that you cancel your appointment if you feel unwell on the day you’re due to come in.
Expect new rules
Any new rules that your salon or beautician has in place are there to protect everyone. You, your beauty therapist, the other clients, and all the staff members present.
Everything will be wiped down before and after your appointment, and your beauty therapist might be wearing more personal protective equipment than usual.
